    I hated Napoleon Dynamite so much. There just isn't words for that level of suckage. It tried to be "stupid funny", but it wasn't it was "Boring while trying too hard to be funny". I swear, I didn't laugh once during that movie, and I laugh really easily.

          I could've sworn I made a post saying that A Goofy Movie and Hunchback of Notre Dame (Disney version) were underrated. Also...a movie has come across my attention as both underrated AND overrated and that movie is Big Fish....it's an amazing story with a beautiful ending but many people think it's fantastic because they didn't understand it. People are stupid like that. "Oh I didn't understand it so that must mean it was fantastic." I love movies.
          At least I'm not Mike Lean.

            My choice for underrated movie.

            Unbreakable - The movie had a beautiful sense of mystery and suspense plus a stellar performance from Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson tied it all together.

              That's the only M. Night Shymalan movie I enjoyed thus far.

                You like the Director's cut ending more than the Theatrical one in The Butterfly Effect? Wtf??

                Are we talking about the same ending? I'll word this as to not reveal any spoilers. Is the Director's cut one the one where he sees the psychic in the middle of the movie while with his mom? If so, that's the one I don't like.... blah...

                  My Name Is Nobody is a freaking awesome western movie that rocks the socks off of every classic western in the comedy, action, plot, AND dialogue department.

                  Also an underrated movie is The Golden Child with Eddie Murphy. I love that movie.

                    That is the better ending. It goes along with the tone of the movie better. Ain't supposed to be some happy ending.

                      <SPOILER WARNING>

                      Is that the ending where he somehow manages to go back so far in time that he is in his mother's womb and strangles himself with the f*cking umbilical cord? If so, that was the worst/dumbest ending I have ever seen in a movie. Ever. Period. It was f*cking stupid and horrible. Hell, why not just give baby Ashton a f*cking grenade in the womb? I'd be so cool. He could blow up the entire maternity ward. It'd be so great! I can see it now:

                      <END SPOILER WARNING>

                      Nurse: "Doctor! What's that that the baby has in his hand?!"
                      Doctor: "Oh my God! It's a GRENADE! EVERYONE GET DOWN!!!"
                      <Loud explosion! Fire everywhere!...maybe film this scene in slow motion...I imagine it kind of like in the first Matrix where Neo dodges those bullets. Only instead of Neo, it can be the Doctor and instead of bullets, it can be little baby body parts.>

                      <Cut to scene that takes place in the past. The doctor is talking to a big black guy. The big black guy is like...the head doctor or something>
                      Doctor (to black guy): "What are you trying to tell me that I can dodge baby parts?"
                      Black Guy/Lead Doctor: "No, Doctor. I'm trying to tell you that when you're ready, you won't have to."
                      Doctor: "Whoa!"

                      <Cut back to scene in the maternity ward. The Doctor is still dodging baby parts...to add make it more realistic, have the baby parts do some kind of boomerang effect so it doesnt look like the baby had like...50 arms or something. It's the same body parts, just doing a boomerang effect.>

                      Black Guy (who died in a lightsaber fight with Darth Vader earlier in the movie...hm...we may have to tweek that a little so George Lucas can't sue us) Voice over: "Stop dicking around dodging baby parts and use the force!" <producer edit: We can't use 'the force.' Instead, use 'the fury'>
                      Doctor: "Huh?"
                      Black Guy: "Say 'huh' again motherf*cker, I dare you! Say 'huh' again!"
                      Doctor: "Oh! The fury! Right...KAAAMEEEEHAAAAMEEEHAAAAA!!!!"
                      <A huge, golden energy ball forms in the hands of the doctor as he yells this. It then launches from his hands and flies around the room incinerating all the baby's limbs. Maybe to lighten the mood a little, there can be an old man sitting on a bench and the energy ball can zoom the top of his head blowing his toupee of.>

                      Nurse: "Oh, Doctor! You saved us!"
                      Doctor: "That's my job!" <producer edit: Can you make this line cornier? Maybe use 'it's all in the job description'>
                      <Laughter>

                      Doctor (embracing the nurse in his arms): "Hey babe, want to go sailing with me?" <producer edit: The doctor and nurse should speak in Mayfair accents>
                      Nurse : "Oh Doctor! Would I ever!"

                      <Cut to scene on the boat...a great white shark jumps out of the water...maybe it does a backflip or something cool like that>

                      Doctor: "We're going to need a bigger boat."

                      The End...?
                      -------------------
                      Best movie ever.

                        Probably the best script I ever read in my whole life.

                            No sir, that would be the scream from Dragonball Z, some of the worst anime ever to hit america.

                              mead1 is correct...unfortunately, I dont believe I have seen all of Saving Silverman in one sitting...if at all. But I'll be sure to check it out.

                              But yeah, I do have to agree that my script is the best ever.
