                    Agreed, half these bands are not metal or suck (Like slipknot..)

                    My favorite band is obviously In Flames.

                    Check out Naglfar, Amon Amarth, Dark Tranquility, and I Killed the Prom Queen.

                            Well, he asked for metal, and metalcore and nu-metal, although they contain the word "metal" are not metal. They derive from another genre and have some caracteristics of metal (distortion, double bass drums) but, all in all, don't have enough attributes that would define them as the aformentioneed genre.

                                        Oh damn I forgot Devildriver my favorite groove metal band. But yeah my list of metal would be sufficient if you are actually trying to listen to the "real deal" but some say it's an acquired taste...

                                            Honestly, I don't care if you call it false metal, I want something that sounds similar thats all im asking for...The point is I want band names that I may be interested in, not if SlipknoT is metal or not. Oh and btw im into more then SlipknoT and Rob Zombie, They are jsut my faviorite bands for different reasons.
