That was made with Fruity Loops, wasn't it?

Maybe I'm not used enough to "electronica", but it either repeats itself too much or it just doesn't have any logic. There is potential though, just work on them more.

Well first off, learn to use a better software. Better software = more complex, more freedom.

Come on, now, FLS is plenty powerful enough to produce really high-end music. Just look at DM Ashura. Just because something is more expensive doesn't mean it's necessary better. (Macs, Reason, I'm looking AT YOU.) Why don't you just go ahead and make him get Pro Tools, then, while you're at it?

Sorry that I couldn't listen yet, but I'm supposed to be in bed an hour ago. Night.

if u honestly think that just because FL studio is cheap that it can't produce high quality music then your completly wrong, there are some really good producers out there who know how to make awsome tracks with it, yea maybe they will move on to something more complex after but i think FL studio is a good place to start, especially when your completly new to producing like this guy... example of a track i think is amazing that was produced in FL studio:

the guy who made it doesn't use FL studio anymore(im like 90% sure on this, i remember him saying his harddrive got effed up or and losing all the presets he made so he was moving onto something like cubase) but this song itself was produced in FL studio

don't tell this dude just cause he uses FL studio his music is going to sound not complex and with less freedom, you can do so much with FL studio, you just have to know how

*EDIT* to the thread creator, keep at it, just keep reading tutorials on FL studio and experiment yourself and find your way of getting the sound you want, i know a bit about FL studio, im sure there are better producers to ask but i could help you out if you need to know anything like how to make a certain sounding effect like a sweep, or gate effect or w.e

*EDIT again* :P in trance machina is one of the synths you used the superwave 8 VSTi?? i dunno i just wanted to ask :P

First of all, I'm not telling you to pirate FL Studio and get a load of VSTi's... but you shoul probably pirate FL Studio and get a load of VSTi's.

That or buy it, and buy it eventually for sure, even your VSTi's. Buy everything when you make music that goes on a CD or anything.

But, you are very good at composing especially for the demo version and, I'm guessing you don't have many VSTi, for not having many VSTi.

LOL. well i wasnt gonna say that publically. buying producing software gets pricey very fast. fl studio xxl edition is like 300 bucks. logic can be up to 1000. reason i think its a couple hundreds. plugins(which are many in number) range from like free to 200 bucks so yea it adds up quickly. ideally youll be spending 2-3k on producing software to be satisified. or you pirate the hell outta things and pay nothing. w/e floats your boat.

the reason i dont want to pirate is im afraid of viruses. im very afraid. but today i was thinking of finding a cracked version of fl studio xxl.
