that's not bad.... it needs polish, a different color scheme... you need to spell my name right... i also don't like the wording as is.
I'm thinking more of "Tasselfoot" covering most of it, then much smaller, "subscribe!" with the arrow.RIPComment

I have to admit, this is my first complete Photoshop piece of art, because I just got it. But it's no too bad, it feels like it's missing something, maybe it's because of the size. >.>

my comments on everything so far:
dean: a bit bland, and too squished together all over. not a huge fan of the bubble.
shayne: best so far... i like the animation for drawing attention. but the background is pretty bland, and the color scheme is a wee bit light and airy for what i'm going for. also, noticed the arrows in the background... my videos have nothing to do with FFR, so no need to have that relation. edit: i uploaded it, and it's no longer animated. that's balls... i could have sworn i'd seen animated gifs for banners from other YT users. so going to remove it, as it doesn't look that great without being animated.
virus: the Tasselfoot color does not go well with the background, and things just aren't legible enough.
necros: i'm very interested to see where you go with that... agreed on the blur, it could be crisper. also looking to see what you're going to do with the background, as it's bland right now with a white background. although if there is too much, it might detract from things. the design definitely captures the "fun" feel i'm going for, to appeal to 13-18 gamers.
so, for now, i'm going to put up DS's, because i want SOMETHING there... but i definitely have faith that you guys can do something better still.

-- "special" videos over 11 minutes long
-- automatic higher quality to your videos
-- unique skins/sizes for the video player
-- more options for your video thumbnails
-- extra channel boxes: bulletins, profile
-- option of animated GIF for background
-- being at the very top of search results
-- the possibility of earning "ad revenue"
-- the light-bulb "watch at night" feature (if you are considered a "broadcaster")
-- a "More From" section which overrides the regular "Related Videos" section
and featuring only your uploaded videos.
Does this mean animated gif only for your channel background? If so that's completely stupid, a gif that large would take a year to load.
