Frequently asked questions..answered here!

Re: Frequently asked questions..answered here!

I have a stupid question, when I try to edit my profile, it says I have to be 13 or older. I am 13, but I still have to print a permissions form. I PMed an admin around 2 months ago and I still have the message saying I am not 13.

Re: Frequently asked questions..answered here!

Same here. I've notified an admin a coulple times as well. I also don't know how to turn on my PM's. I'm pretty sure I need that thing about me not being 13 to be removed before it will let me turn on my PM's

Re: Frequently asked questions..answered here!

means that you aren't connecting to the server, for whatever reason...

try clearing your cache, try using a different browser, try refreshing a few times (if it says Can't Connect! you won't get credits... if it says "You Are Now Connected To Multiplayer!" then you will).

thanks... I thought I looked everywhere... obviously I'm either blind or I didn't look very hard (and I can't be blind if I play FFR)
I feel so stupid now

Re: Frequently asked questions..answered here!

I need to know what to do when the song is downloaded, and do I save the song or do I run it?

Re: Frequently asked questions..answered here!

you need a program called Stepmania. www.stepmania.com

what you'll do is install stepmania onto your computer, and extract the folder from the .zip file you're downloading into:

Stepmania/Songs/Songs

so that if you are downloading the song "Happy Birthday", which has the files HappyBirthday.dwi and HappyBirthday.mp3 inside of the folder HappyBirthday, it'll look like this:

Stepmania/Songs/Songs/HappyBirthday/HappyBirthday.dwi
Stepmania/Songs/Songs/HappyBirthday/HappyBirthday.mp3

and, what i'd recommend doing... is running the file you're downloading. it's a zip file, so it should open right up in WinZip, and then extract it so that it looks like what I described above.

Re: Frequently asked questions..answered here!

For the simfile, I have extracted it says that windows does not know the program that created it and needs to know what program should run it. I need a lot of help.

Re: Frequently asked questions..answered here!

put the simfile (folder) into the songs/simfile folder (with optional BN & BG) inside the stepmania folder and it should be in stepmania, ready and playable.

Re: Frequently asked questions..answered here!

I have a question. I'm new here and I'm a little confused. I cannot seem to see any changes in my records. Like it says I've played 0 games since whenever. There is no date. It's all 0000-00-00. Also, I earn credits, but it doesn't add to my total. I have no credits. And one more, how do you level up your MP?

[dashoe93]

Re: Frequently asked questions..answered here!

eh, its a problem every one has with the 'score not changing' thing. hopfuly Tass can help you out with that. make sure your logged in too. You can level up your MP by going into multiplayer mode and playing other people. when you beat them you get xp to level up. But if you lose, you lose xp and might level down.
