Jokes aside, I'd be surprised if these laser keyboards replaced the conventional physical keyboards. I can imagine some products using the technology, but until they solve the various limitations, it would only be on a small selection of them.
But then again, this is my opinion in 2011, not 2025. :/
I'd expect to see it built into tablets and used more than touch screen keyboards. I predict you'll only see keyboards on "workstations" which would be a computer much like a PC today where you would type reports or essays etc. most other computing will be done on tablets or something else.
