    You know I've been going to the movie theater for years and I have only encountered 1-2 cellphone users. They turned their phones off though... this woman is very dumb and obnoxious

    I have not been to one since 2007 I prefer waiting for DVD.

        These are house rules at a theater about 20 minutes away from my house:
        No children under the age of 5. For G & select PG Rated movies, ages 3 and up are welcome. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian in the theater. Must be legal age to consume any alcohol products.

                    Out of the countless times I've been to the theater, I've never encountered a single person blabbing away on a cellphone (if they did, I didn't notice it because it was out of earshot). The worst thing, IMO, is when the people next to you are constantly getting the **** up to go to the bathroom or to buy food, and need to slide by you to do so

                            I usually avoid going to theaters these days, and when I'm forced to, I do everything I can to not sit next to a stranger due to my tendency to explain various tropes that come up during the course of the movie. Out loud. In a conversational tone. Over the soundtrack.

                            Yeah, I'm one of those guys that "adds their own soundtrack" as AMC puts it, but at least I don't use my phone during the movie.
