Yeah...I can't do that at my college. CA would be a Pre-req for Trig.

It is here too but you're allowed to take both at the same time, but you can't take 142 before 141. It's the same with our Bio classes and Business classes. It's a pretty sweet gig if you want to get more done quicker.

I think freshman, sophomore, junior and senior are based on credits, not years attended.

I just switched my major to biology, so I'm also gonna take a bio class somewhere along with these. Shouldn't be too bad, only thing is I need to get at least all A's with only one A- to maintain a high enough GPA to stay in the honors college. :/

also those 8AM classes on thursday and friday are gonna suck

Lets start by complaining about the fact that I'm in summer courses in the first place.

First class: Interpersonal Psychology (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00-9:20 AM) I'm the only guy in the class =[ so I feel like I'm at an all girls school. Even the teacher is a girl. So far so boring. And how about being asked by the teacher if I had a girlfriend. x.x

Second Class: Professional Research and Reporting (Monday-Thursday 9:30-10:30)
This class is Hell. First thing she did was assign homework. Then she stressed out on how much research we're doing in class. Here we go 30 page research paper!

Third Class: College Student Success (WTF!) (Monday and Wednesday 11:00-11:50)
At least there are a lot of hot girls in the class and the class is easy as f**k! No final! Thank God!

Back to complaining! FML SCHOOL! FML!!!

I'm on a practicum assignment right now. I had the first seminar class the day after my last final. So lame. The practicum itself means I'm in a high school the same hours as a teacher and the class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm always exhausted =(. Later on in August I'm taking my methods of teaching math course. That meets I think like a total of 11 times and there's a poopload of work involved. I don't know everything about it yet. Then I can finally student teach in the Fall. Then I might actually start making some stupid money so I can start paying off the incredible amount of debt I'm in ;_;.

I was thinking about teaching elementary social studies or math when I started going into college. A lot of stuff happened between then and about a year ago when school districts in the area started laying off students. I ended up changing majors just recently to eye care technology. Something that pays a lot of money with just a year experience which I can get [experience] by working through my classes.

I had a high-paying job in software but I hated it so I quit. Money isn't everything. I plan on getting a masters degree eventually which will bump me onto a higher pay scale anyway. Sure I won't make $100k but I don't live extravagantly.

And I'm teaching math so I have more job security than a social studies teacher. I don't know how it works in Texas, but there are no subject-specific elementary teachers in New Jersey. You teach elementary or you teach a subject area.
