this doesnt work fast enough to be a viable option for restaurants or fast food joints though. if made compact this could be a great home tool tho

Your whole house would have to be made of the same surface they used. Not that great for a home tool if you ask me. Even then, disinfecting and polishing surfaces is just as important as cleaning them. Picking up the spill won't take the smell away. A scented cleaner will.

We need more lemon pledge.

Pretty cool, but what kind of surface are they testing this on? At the time where uses the regular metal spatula thing, while it can't pick the condiments up it sure did a really good job of wiping them off the surface they were on, which is different I feel from how they behave on normal surfaces.

Still very impressive and cool to see!

Oh ok, just saying. Like the guy below me says, it's very vague what surface they used. It was the same each time really.
