The NFC's wide open, although I think Atlanta has the advantage with home field. They can be beaten at home, but it'll be tough for anyone going in there.

Come to think of it, I think the AFC's a little open too, although ultimately I think New England pulls it out. I think if any team can go into New England and win, it'll be Kansas City, with as much familiarity with the Pats as they have on the staff. I think New England handles New York, and if they wind up against Pit, they'll handle them too, just like they did at Heinz Field earlier this year (was Polamalu in that game? I don't remember). Ravens whooped up on them last year in the playoffs, but I don't they can get it done this year.... I think whoever wins tomorrows AFC wildcard has the best chance at upsetting the Pats, but I don't think anyone will actually do it.

Both games tomorrow should be fun to watch. As much as I want Philly to win (and make it to the super bowl), it's really not a good match up for them, unless of course they've gotten their O-line problems straightened out, which they better have. Vick has the ability to do it all and make up for the weaknesses of the offense, but I really think it's too much to ask for in the playoffs.

However, I think the winner of the NFC game tomorrow can make it to the Super Bowl. I think it's more likely that Green Bay would do it, I think they can beat Philly (already beat them at their place this year), Atlanta, and Chicago (only lost by 3 at both of their places). I think Green Bay CAN, but WILL they? I really don't know, this is a great postseason.

What I personally want to see is New England over Philadelphia in the Super Bowl, and I think there's a good possibility of that happening, especially since I think New England is a shoe-in...

I am a Pats fan, so that may be a little biased, but come on... Do you honestly see anyone sticking it to the Patriots AT Gillette Stadium?

I was shocked that Seattle scored 41 points on New Orleans, that was insane. But Seattle will get beat next round, who gives up 36 points & wins? lmao.

Just curious to see your view on this, what if NO happened to pull out the comeback and won that game, would you still say NO is a team that could possibly make it further after letting a 7-9 team score 41 points on them? Im sure some people would still think NO would have been the team to go all the way if they won that game(not me personally because I see NO as a joke team). lol

Today was the only time I picked Indy to lose, and they lost. I hate the feeling right when you know your team has no chance to win. As of right now, I want the super bowl to be Kansas City vs Green Bay, only because Green Bay is my dads favorite team & I want to see a team nobody ever expected to be there.

When people talk about Green Bay & New England, all I ever hear of is Aaron Rodgers & Tom Brady, and while they are the biggest pieces to there teams, they aren't the sole reason the team is so good. Green Bay has Clay Mathews (ichliebekase, I'm sorry, but he's going to win defensive player of the year over Ed Reed), Clay Mathews puts a lot of pressure on the Quarterback, which is why I believe if Green Bay gets to the Super Bowl against New England, they will beat New England. Look what happened against the Giants in the super bowl a few years ago when New England had more receiver threats, the Giants showed that if you put pressure on Tom Brady, he will still be good, but you have a good shot of beating him. The only way you're going to beat the Patriots is if you have defensive linebackers that can put a lot of pressure on Tom Brady, and that's exactly what Green Bay has. I'm not bringing down Tom Brady, but he probably has the best offensive line in football. If you give a decent quarterback the amount of time he gets, they'd be a great quarterback. (I'm not saying Tom Brady is only decent, that's beyond a stupid comment, he's great)

My dad predicted both games today, lol. He says Kansas City will win tomorrow along with Green Bay. Kansas City is a really hard place to play, and Baltimore seems to have a tough time scoring points sometimes. It should be a good game, but I don't see how Baltimore will lose that game.

And did anybody see that 67 Yard Touchdown run by Lynch for Seattle? I've never seen a run like that.

PS - Krunky, neither of your predictions can come true now. xD Because the biggest upset of the season would be Seattle vs New Orleans, which would be a bigger upset than if Baltimore were to upset Atlanta. Also, I don't agree with saying Pittsburgh can't do it. They have good defense, which against New England, you only need a decent offense & a good defense that can put pressure on Brady to win. Pittsburgh in my opinion is very capable of doing it this year. I hope not though;\

EDIT: I forgot to continue about why New England is so good. Another reason is because they actually have a run game this year. They've never really had a good run game, and now this year you have to worry about the run.

Speaking of Clay Matthews, I saw a sick report on the Matthews family on ESPN this morning that is one badass family of football players. Then there was a report of Michael Vick's bankruptcy plan... o.o But yeah Pats over Jets.

Kansas City, though I have faith in my team will probably end up going out today. Hey, it's a huge step-up from last year I must say, Todd Haley has done some intense things with the team this year.

Right from the start I was one of the few that said I really don't believe New Orleans can do it, they don't have a run game (I don't believe at least, I might be wrong, maybe I have the wrong team, but I'm almost positive I'm right) and they're injured, they really are not even close to the same team they were last year. Yeah, they went 11-5, but they struggled. If they pulled out that win I would have high confidence they would lose to Chicago or Atlanta. New Orleans was really one of the weaker teams in the playoffs, the only thing they had going for them is Drew Brees (Again, I don't know that much about New Orleans, so I could definitely be wrong), and the fact they were in the Super Bowl last year.

I would say the Super Bowl is going to be New England vs Green Bay. Although I have a bad feeling about both teams (yes, even New England), I almost think that the entire field is pretty even right now, New England is a little ahead of everybody else, but I think too many people are saying NE vs GB. I notice when everybody predicts something is going to happen, and it seems inevitable (bad with vocabulary, might be wrong word), it usually never happens.

Also, another thing, you won't see one person outside of New York picking New York to beat New England, because of that 45-3 game. I think if Rex Ryan can calm down, and not be so 'not a chance we'll lose, we're going all the way, etc etc' and actually think things through without calling stupid timeouts, and smartens up a little bit. I think they would have a chance against New England. They do have a nice defense, I know they gave up 45 points to NE, but they really do have a pretty nice defense. The problem with playing New England is you really have to take big chances to win, like you have to blitz so you put pressure on Tom Brady, but he can make you really pay for that if you don't do it right. I think NYJ is very capable of beating NE.

Then again, New England will probably go out & win 70-0 this time around.

Let's rewind to the playoffs last year. First round, Ravens vs. Patriots, Patriots at home. Who won? Ravens...yea...

If Joe Flacco comes to play and can keep the offense on the field longer so the defense can rest, then the Ravens have a solid chance of beating the Patriots. We are the ultimate underdog team and have been for years. If only we could actually capitalize like in 2000 >.>

Btw, what happened in Seattle? I saw the end and was just appalled. And the way the Saints defense could not stop that runner for the 67-yard game ending touchdown was sickening. He should have gone down immediately, but no, countless missed tackles.

And yessssssss Jets :3 very beneficial to the Ravens because we've already beaten the Steelers at home this year and know that team better than any other. Just...don't...fuck...up...

The Patriots are definitely a better team this year. I really didn't think they would be after getting rid of Randy Moss, because although they didn't use him much, you would ALWAYS have to double team him and he would always be a huge threat just by being on the field because if they throw one down to him for 70 yards that can really burn you. But they've only had 9 turnovers all year, and what is Baltimore known for? Defense. So they're really have to play great defense to beat New England, plus Baltimore doesn't score much. So they'd have to play even better defense. I think they can do it though.

And the Ravens did beat the Steelers, but didn't they lose once as well? ;P

Lost one due to bad officiating and the offense not staying on the damn field. That's why we nearly lose half our games. My main point with saying we can beat them away though is that we..did beat them away. They say it's harder to win games away but we say otherwise.

Our average points per game fluctuated so much this year, I looked back and we've won with 10 points but we've won with 37. Positive point: we've never scored less than 10 points in a game the entire year. Another point: average points allowed per game, Ravens are/were 3rd with 15.X points.

TOUCHDOWN RAVENS!

The Patriots had 9 turnovers this year. They haven't had any since...they played the Ravens :O [yes it's true, they made a big deal about it]. If our defense comes rested and our offense comes to play like they are in KC right now, then they seem like one of the few teams that does have a chance to beat the Patriots.

Also, a fun fact about Ed Reed. He's the only player in NFL history to have scored touchdowns off a punt return, blocked punt, interception and fumble recovery.

I addressed that in my post, and this is a different Pats team like Vanilla's saying. They've got a good run game behind the best offense in the league, and they've yet to lose at home this season. If Baltimore gets to New England, it'd be a hell of a road. It'd be their third straight road game, and Pittsburgh will definitely have worn them out, all while having to keep up with New England's offense.

I really wouldn't call them an "underdog" team... Teams know what they're in for against them, and they know the Ravens are a really good team. ESPN's had the Ravens in the top 5 in power rankings pretty much all season. They may not be technically favored to win, but it should remain something along the lines of a three-point-spread, which basically is just given to the home team.

Seattle though... Vegas odds-makers have them 100:1 to win the Super Bowl lol

I don't mean to like be mean about this, but Ed Reed's brother is definitely not alive. He's in that river somewhere, where he jumped in. And has he played long enough & had enough quality years to be a hall of famer? I really think in all sports the Hall of Fame lets in too many people to be honest.
