The US has typically engaged itself into "helping" other countries, but sometimes their help becomes a little too intrusive into their culture and society. It needs to apply a bit more laissez-faire.

Yeah and most of the time it's their fault that they are homeless. Don't care to help someone who doesn't even know how to help them self. Waste of time, money and effort.

Oh my god, what a terrible statement right here. Ever took beyond-your-control circumstances into issue? Not everyone can "fix" themselves and their lives just like that, or even with incredible amounts of hard work.
Anyways, this is another issue on its own, so I'll leave this as is.

Some people take capitalism too literally with the zero-intervention mindset. It's in no way any different from the extreme other side of the spectrum.

That's what we all hope for, and that's what I wish was true. But consistently there are some people who just never make the cut, despite their efforts. There are countless examples where the "hard work pays off" doesn't work as linearly as expected.

Some families in America are working two jobs each just to break even. If they get hit with a medical emergency or their car/house breaks down or whatever they simply won't have the money to replace it and they'll go bankrupt.
Aside from magically knowing what to do better or magically moving to a better place, which they can't do with no free time and no investments to work off of, they're stuck until policies improve.
Only in an ideal world is the statement that enough hard work can always improve your situation true.

yeah but hes rolling with 1st ID

he's a 'Red Team Leader' and basically he takes plans from the higher-ups and modifies them so they can be executed well on a local level
