Re: FFR is back?
I am going to defend Magic and say that he has somewhat of a reason to be upset. I would be upset also if I belonged to an involved community like FFR and one day it blipped off the map without any explanation.
FFR became intensely huge with an equally huge operating cost. When things began to crumble, so did I. I let a lot of people down and honestly the pressure was just so immense. We went from budget shared hosting to flying across the country each week for meetings with Sony, Konami, Epic, Universal, Geffen and more. A blessing and a nightmare all at once.
While I will explain more of this later but let's fast forward to now. I am ultimately the only one who signed for leases, loans and is responsible for corporate taxes. Guess who is still working his ass off to pay for those things? It's been hell for some of the people around me but equally worse for me. This is part of why I want to scrap the business model completely and just go back to what you guys loved about FFR.
Gotta get back to work but checking in frequently!
