Thanks everyone, this helped a lot. Haha btw, to Xx{Midnight}xX about Freddy vs Jason, no offense to the movie but the main girl at the end when she yelled "WELCOME TO MY WORLD *****" omg I laughed for seriously five mins long. Good times.

The point wasn't that it was a good movie (It wasn't.) the point was it was an ok example. =) Horror movies aren't what they used to be.

Hey there! I'm doing some research on horror movies and I have four questions that are pretty quick. If you have long answers that fine!

Yeah, I bet it is.

1. Do you like horror movies?

Not really. I love horror movies, but none of the ones being made now are actually frightening. The Japanese are doing great **** with THEIR horror industry. Watch movies like "Audition" and you'll see what I mean.

2. If so, what's your favorite one?

Probably Audition. Or Misery. I have facorite moments from many movies, including It, Candyman, The Shining (the one with Nicholson, three guesses about my favorite part, first two don't count), The Stand, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc.

3. What do you dislike about the genre?

I'm not fond of all these movies which aren't scary. Like "The Unborn". That was a **** movie, and I paid nine bucks to see it. "Orphan looks good, but because Unborn did too, I'm not gonna see it.

4. What do you like?

Psychological stuff. Like Hannibal/Silence of the Lambs kind of stuff.

2. The Ring
3. I dislike that a lot of them aren't frightening at all, simply hack 'n slash or "gross-outs".
4. When they're hilariously bad. Like the ones with Mike Myers.
