The funny thing is as well as highly increasing the chance of cancer they also age your skin by a hell of a lot so although you may look pretty temporarily as you age you will look as old as hell. Yuck yuck.

one of my old roommates went tanning every week. this is not good news for her. i have never used a tanning bed in my life and i don't plan to.

I remember a law being passed where you have to be 18 or under 18 with parental approval to use tanning beds.

I heard a story about how some lady always tanned herself in a tanning bed near-daily to demonstrate that it was safe.

She died of severe skin cancer.
