This kind of stuff is exactly why I hate the term "global warming".

yeah, hi, it is many degrees below zero and you want to say it is because the earth is "globally warming"? Yeah, ok.

Here in Michigan around where I live, I think the coldest it reached was like -12 degrees F, not counting the windchill of course. Local district schools were closed.

But you live in California. The state can't make up its mind on the budget and the temperature. Throughout the day, it fluctuates between 40 and 80 degrees.

Global warming doesn't mean it's going to be hot everywhere on Earth. There will be some places that are extremely hot while there will be some places that are extremely cold, however, the net temperature of the overall Earth would be higher if there was global warming.

But you already knew that.

Wow. I lose feeling in my entire body at 25 degrees Fahrenheit. -40 would be unreal o_O

Lowest I've -ever- seen is 8 Fahrenheit, but I've also seen 112.
