Re: What is your definition of the word "DISOBEY"

My own definition of disobey is disobey.

I don't get why you think everyone will have some sort of view on a word that means the exact same to everyone, just worded different.

Maybe if she would tell us the "problem" she's having we could shed some light on it.

She wants to know if she can bend her parents' rules by citing an shoddy opinion of the word "disobey" from some wack-job in the internet.

To disobey is to take it 3/4 the way down the throat instead of the whole nine yards.

I guess Squeek forgot when he came by. Then Fish... uh... forgot too...?

Maybe they want to get a response out of the person who made the thread to shed some light on their intended purpose. If the OP can elaborate on the topic, there might be a subject worth discussing.

I did close it. OP posted on my profile saying it had a point. I sent a PM to the OP saying "Get to the point." and re-opened it. Guess OP goes to school or something and won't be home for a while.

If she really is looking for a "cool" way to disobey her parents, she could start by waiting behind the front door 'till they get home and then promptly hitting the first person to enter in the kneecap with a metal softball bat.

No real reason behind it. It'd just be promptly disobedient whilst skipping all this "Hey FFR give me a new definition on an old word" stuff.

that makes sense although im still not sure what kind of point you can make by asking a question such as "what is your definition of the word 'disobey'"

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DISOBEYING HER PARENTS (to all who assume that)!!!

This thread was posted out of anger and sadness, and to prove a point she made a thread about it, which is a double slap to me since i caused it, oops
