Ya, the needles kill you once you get far enough in the game, cause you cant get life higher than 9999 and they do 10,000 little needles each doing on damage.

You summon Anima in FFX, Kinghts of the Round in FF7, Eden in FF8 and that uber one in FF9.....Um, the airship thingy. And I havent played FF 1-6 in a while so I don't remember much bout those.
