Just ordered all these parts yesterday. Gonna build my computer over Thanksgiving break.

Already have a 500G hard drive at home, so that's why it's not there.

It's gonna be awesome.

Re: I <3 Newegg.

sounds rad, but the sound card is probably overkill...

Re: I <3 Newegg.

Ummm... What?

Sound card is like 30 bucks...
Do you mean video card?

Re: I <3 Newegg.

what the ****?
yea sorry, i have no clue why i said sound card.

What are you using it for that you would need a 350$+ video card?

Re: I <3 Newegg.

Everything.

I plan to be doing games, photoshop, and maybe some solidworks/3d modeling programs. Anyway, good video is nice. xD

Re: I <3 Newegg.

ok yea, some games and especially 3D modeling can get crazy...

Re: I <3 Newegg.

Yeah... First thing I plan to do with it is buy Battlefield 2 and crank the settings up to max xD

Your extremely lucky.

Lucky?

Re: I <3 Newegg.

Indeed lucky. I plan to build myself a new computer after X-mas. That video card is a beast though. Crysis (the demo at least) looked great on a very similar vcard. Anyways, I hope all your pieces arrive safely.

Re: I <3 Newegg.

That's pretty good. I need to upgrade all of my stuff soon. It has been way too long since I've done anything with my computer.

Re: I <3 Newegg.

Psycho, for the first time I realized that your name isn't "Psycho Berserker," but rather "Psycho Zero Skater." Wow, that took a long time.

Anyway, hope all your parts arrive on time and in good condition OP. But since it's Newegg, that shouldn't be a problem. Heck, my dad got a computer case for free, along with a replacement side panel fan simply because an LED was the wrong color. Newegg is awesome, hands down.

Re: I <3 Newegg.

its decent, but not that great for 1600.
you couldve definately bulked up on 1gb more ram plus a better mouse.
but this is a very amazing rig.
just hope the case isnt balls.

Re: I <3 Newegg.

I'm stealing the parts before they get to you.

Ohnoez!!

Yeah... I know. I'm going more for the fully functional rather than the 'just the basics'... With the capture card and all that...

And as for the RAM, I actually plan to get another gig of ram later... Just trying to wait till I have more cash on hand..

The mouse, actually, I really like. I've worked with them, and they're flawless... xD (Besides the fact that they don't have any extra buttons or anything...) Trust me--it's perfect as a mouse. Lol
