It's pretty awesome if you think about it. The rhythm genre just seems to naturally amaze people, even if you're not that great at it.

Someone who is the equivalent skill level as insomniac, but in a game like....say Halo, would be boo'd off stage in embarrassment, whilst the person playing the rhythm game is looked at in awe. Amazing game we play here =)

You know, I never thought of it that way, that's a really good point DS. Yeah my mom thinks I'm like a god at this game after two years of seeing me play it and I've been caught in school playing it. At first my teachers weren't too happy but then they took a moment to realize what I was doing and were like.......whoa, I've stunned many a people into shocked silence. Bible study is always fun too during lounge hour in the beggining :3

I'm (To use the American terms because you guys seem to only understand it that way) a Senior in College. To date nobody has even seemed to particularly notice that I'm playing FFR when I'm playing in the computer lab, let alone say anything about being impressed.

I think finding it that impressive is very much a highschool phenomenon.

wow, rofl, noone at my school knows I play FFR except my sister. She doesn't even CARE I play it, she doesn't even know how well I play.

I introduced someone at school to the game though, he quit real fast.
He thought that I should do something else with my time, but he shouldn't be talking, being the one playing GH3 all the time, lul (or I think that was him)

whenever someone asks to see how good i am, i usually just play {blaze} and SDG it.

people go wild over seeing the "fast" 16th streams. If i were to play something like balloon fever, people wouldnt go as wild.

I always play at school and sometimes during class, and ppl ALWAYS say you have no life and ........WTF..yah your just pressing anything or u completly memorized the notes. But i still might go in the talent show at my school, dont no if i should, cuz like half of my school will say HOLY SHI-AMAZING, other half will be like........=.= no life...

I don't care about what people say. I usually get a good reaction when I play FFR from the students standpoint. But the teachers HATE it!
