I WISH my elementary school/middle school/high school had forced us to play instruments. Music was definately not a focus in any school I attended, and I think that is unfortunate.

I WISH my elementary school/middle school/high school had forced us to play instruments. Music was definately not a focus in any school I attended, and I think that is unfortunate.

We were forced to be introduced to music theory and percussion instruments in elementary school, and then band class was an option in middle school here. I don't regret it at all. It evidently did our high school some good, because we've recieved top awards in our regional competition for three years straight.
