Um dude, some people (like myself) don't care about average rank.
I only care about Tier points.
I have about 50 0s on songs that I have never played, and never will play, because they are easy pieces of crap.

But most people don't have any tier points. Heck, many people don't even know what tier points are. Average rank is the next best thing.
