Blue Man Group is more of a multisensorial show. It appeals to both visual and auditive senses, both in accordance with each other.

Ok I think I've figured it out. Correct me if I'm wrong, but humans admire eachothers abilities. This can be the way someone looks, or how well they play a sport. We enjoy watching sports because we want to see the best. The best are the ones who would be best suited for evolutionary purposes. We all want the prettiest or the funniest person to be with. Music is the same thing. If we hear someone whos playing good music, we admire them for their abilities. No matter what kind of music it is. The people who are making the music are famous, and so they must be somehow more advanced that other people. Perfect for bettering the human race. Now of course we dont hear music and just want to jump on whoever it is, its just a subconcious admiration for their superior abilities. The ability to become highly successful. It is also theorized that language began as a form of singing, sounds crazy I know, but that could be a part of our facination as well.
