Yes, Treadmills, even when the grade is elevated, (which is what I used to compensate for lack of resistance), offer almost no resistance (as compared to roads or grass) on the base grade (0.0). It's just a flat out run for 20 minutes. Which is why I raised the elevation of the treadmill to 7.5 Which *gasp* is uphill
I never claimed to, but you know that since you wrote this:
Correct, one break was about 30 seconds long to tie my shoe, and the second one was somewhere around 2 minutes long (give or take), which was more than ample time for me to catch my breath, I'll give you that. Both of those times though the program was put on pause. thus it was not still going while I was doing these activities.
Like I said. The total time I spent running was 20:00. If you want to be completley semantic, add the 2 and 1/2 minutes i had to tie my shoe and take a dump to the total, and omit the 2 tenths of a mile for 22:30. Still a good run.
