Re: So today I was suspended...
And the Assistant Principal didn't hear him say that?I was asked to take a note to one of the teachers, I know this teacher because he hosted a club I went to regularly last year. I go into the classroom, the assistant teacher takes the note and asks me why I have an earphone in my ear, since they're banned in my school. I respond with "I dunno" and take it out of my ear, some kid near me says "Take that out of your ear, bitch." I look at him and tell him to shut up.Originally posted by TheSeventhSignIt's like Rebirth took a ****, reached into the toilet, and said, "Whaddaya know, a stepfile!"Comment

Yes, I'd love some.
Care to offer yours?
Assistant principle wasn't there, the assistant teacher was a few feet away from me. Amazingly enough, people 10 feet across the classroom heard him say that but the teacher 2-3 feet away from him didn't. In fact, neither of them did.

Re: So today I was suspended...
I was suspended and sent to ISS for a week when I was in 6th grade for fighting. My dad almost sued the school district because the school intentionally kept handing me more school work just to keep me in ISS.
EDIT: Why don't you appeal your suspension by saying what you said in Reply #19:

Re: So today I was suspended...
See, this has to be the one thing I hate about adults. Many of them are too quick to jump to the conclusion and once they hear the first story, they believe that it is the true one. They believe the second story, or the "rebuttal" story is all made up and designed to counteract the first story. Or of course, the worse case would be they assumed they know everything that happened before they even hear any story and make a huge decision like this right off the bat.

Re: So today I was suspended...
This isn't the first time something like this has happened. They would keep contesting the fact that I opened my mouth and told the kid to shut up. Believe me, what the last poster said is the truth, the staff in my school is so biased to what they want to believe that they won't care about anything else.EDIT: Why don't you appeal your suspension by saying what you said in Reply #19:

The last time something like this happened was in ninth grade, my mother and I had to go to the board of education to get it thrown out because the staff already had their favorites.wtf is a noobletOriginally posted by jewpinthethirdIf you are part of the 2% that isn\'t a ***got, put this in your profile.Originally posted by white_boyfiremon is in the top 10 sm list...dont talk (#$% to him.

Re: So today I was suspended...
i feel you. life is full of **** so just wipe it up and move alongThe school started four years ago, we're the first class to go through all four years, hence, we're "The Originals." I'm a senior, I work in the office during one of my classes because I couldn't find another class I wanted to take.
I was asked to take a note to one of the teachers, I know this teacher because he hosted a club I went to regularly last year. I go into the classroom, the assistant teacher takes the note and asks me why I have an earphone in my ear, since they're banned in my school. I respond with "I dunno" and take it out of my ear, some kid near me says "Take that out of your ear, bitch." I look at him and tell him to shut up.
I leave the room, closing the door behind me, I'm halfway down the hall and I hear a loud noise behind me. I turn around to see the same kid charging at me like he wants to fight me, I turn to face him, he comes in my face with the typical "IMMA FUX U UP ***** KK WUT U GON DO" attitude. He keeps saying "I'm here now, what the **** you gonna do?" I'm trying to keep my cool to avoid a fight, I keep telling him "Calm down man."
Eventually he backs off and I keep walking back to the office. Amazingly enough, him and the teacher are already in there and they told them the entire thing. I'm called into the assistant principle's office to write down exactly what happened. I write down everything I've already typed. She takes me and another assistant principle into her office and they talk, more or less comparing what I said to what he said.
It turns out he accused me of calling him a ******, and several other people attest to the same thing. The first thing I have to ask is "Are they his friends or just random people that happened to hear?" She comes back with "They're just witnesses, we don't know." It's pretty obvious he got his friends to say that, so I tell them that I wouldn't say that.
Honestly, I'm black, I know how it feels to be called a ******, I wouldn't do that to someone else.
All in all I'm suspended for two days, which means I miss 2 tests, 1 quiz, and another project; major work for me. I was suspended for saying "Shut the **** up" to the guy. Amazing he calls me a bitch, charges out of the room like he's going to fight me, and blatantly walks out of his class during class time to come down there, and I'm the one at fault because I'm an office aide - I'm supposed to set an example.
Someone show me some love, I'm going to need it after the beating I'm going to take tonight.

Re: So today I was suspended...
To the person above me, don't quote the whole damn story.
To OP. Yeah, it sucks. Happens to everyone.
I got ISS for a week for supposedly calling some fat greasy-faced black chick a n*****. I totally didn't, but she and her 50 friends said I did, just because I'm smarter than them (really, I beat them out on every category of a school-wide test, which I was in the top 3% of the reading, comprehension, math, etc), and because I got better grades than them, and because I'm not as poor as them. Somehow, the teachers believe that all 50 of those kids were in the same class, during classtime, and heard me say it. Suuuuuure. All I had were my 2 (also white, and smart) best friends to back me up.

Isn't that true for every time you get accused for something?Comment

Re: So today I was suspended...
I obviously don't know the details of the story 100%, but in your position, I would simply ignore the suspension. Go to school and take your tests and whatnot. If the teachers try to give you crap over it, explain to them that his story was simply fabricated -- yours is not, and that's that. If they try to take it higher than that, the truth will come out naturally. Don't take **** from teachers and adults unless you have actually broken the rules they say you have broken. But if you have not broken any rules, then you should not have to suffer because some punk obviously tried to antagonize you and made up a story. You have a classroom full of people that can verify that he called you "bitch" and stormed out after you. You shouldn't have to be punished. Simple as that.
On the other hand, you probably shouldn't have told the kid to shut up. If you're in a position of authority at your school, it usually isn't best to antagonize someone trying to give you a hard time. You should have just let the kid say his bitch-statement, as it was a retarded thing anyway and not worth escalating.Comment

Re: So today I was suspended...
Saying shut-up to the kid was probably a natural reaction. If someone says something to me I don't like, I'd tell them something along the lines of "keep quiet". How was he suppose to know the kid would react that way?

Yeah but you have to consider who you're saying shut-up to and how they'll react to it.Comment
