Note that mp3s nowadays can have an ID3v1 tag (at the end of the file) and an ID3v2 tag (at the beginning of the file, with support for pictures etc.)

iTunes only writes ID3v2 tags to the files, but anywhere.FM reads from the ID3v1 tag.

Basically, what you need to do is download that software I talked about in my "Tips" post:


This tool has the ability to take information in the ID3v2 tag and write it to the ID3v1 tag.

alain, weird thing about the v1 tagging issue. I have plenty of tracks with more than 30 characters in their names.

And just a question, does that program fix damaged Japanese tags? Heh.

Sweet! I just hit the 1000 song mark. I am only into the "E"'s of my dance folder. Man I can't wait till I am finished with these uploads O_o; Added some decent playlists for you to listen to.

'Donno about the Japanese characters. I know v1 has a character limit, so longer information should be stored in v2, v1 will get truncated.
