I also came up with the idea that Synth has yearly pens. You know:


-1 Year
-2 Years
-3 Years
etc.

That way, it's not just the 3 to 4 year olds who get the Pens. And who is to say that the Pens will even say that? Knowing Synth, he'd put his own touch on the message itself.

The pens could be sold by the bundle like 10 pens for $5.70, 20 pens for $11.40, and so on and so forth.

Of course, you would be able to buy a pen whenever you want, but who wants to buy a Pen that says, "FFR Oldies: 3 Years" and you've only been there for one year?

I have priced customized pens and I assure you they were more than .57 cents.. Can you link me to the page that showed customized pens for .57 cents? In my experience they were only that cheap in bulks of about 10,000 pens.

The only thing I see going on with these pens is that they're too specific and it'd be very difficult to contact every 4-year member, let alone even three years, just for a gift. Couple that with the fact that pens don't really even last that long in some cases (durability and ink consumption), rendering the gift useless in a short time. If I got one, I probably wouldn't use it and buy a non-gift one, but that point still stands.

The only way I see the personalized one working as a gift is to have a list compiled and have qualifying members contact Synth or Jason after an announcement or message has been made. Or, require a response with necessary shipping info after a mass PM is sent out.

That aside, I love the idea of FFR pens. I'd like to say that I'd by them, but I have to watch my mouth. Circuit City didn't hire me and I still don't have an income =/

Wow, lol... How much are they? If they're too much that he wouldn't make any profit out of it, I say it's a terrible idea. Other than that, I think nforcer is right. It would be way too much work for not much income from the pens.

1. I recently stated that the idea isn't just for those who were 4 year olds or 3 years olds but for everyone who wants one including the 1 year and 2 year olds. Or Synth could make a crazy statement or whatever.

2. That's why I suggested that Synth sell the Pens in bundles. Of course people are going to use them and that's why more is better.

that would be pretty swweeet
and yes, maybe get a pen that is easy to spin, because pen spinning is awesome =]

Why pay $15 for one when you can pay say $10 for like 20 pens? You can always buy refillable ink.
