i dunno if this has happened to anyone else, but like..
i was zoning off in the middle of class so i was mostly asleep, then i had a dream someone threw something at me...
so then i randomly jerked really fast and i open my eyes and everyones looking at me, and my hands are out infront of my face like im trying to catch something, i felt retarded.

My teacher had us count off into groups, 6 in a group. The person before me had 6, and I was supposed to say 1, but I wasn't paying attention and said 7 instead...

That happens to me, but not in school. I dream I'm ice skating on a deserted pond in the middle of the night, then all of a sudden I fall and I flinch and wake up. When I wake up my heart is always beating really fast.

The thing where you almost fall asleep but just barely don't and you wake up and almost always involuntarily jerk your head up or something.... that's called microsleep.

Microsleep gets me into a lot of embarassing situations. In that first stage of sleep where you're teetering on entering level two of the sleep cycle, the dream images you see are called hypnogognic halloucinations. When I'm experiencing that, if people talk to me, I'll respond in the context of what I'm seeing instead of what the person said. I've had people tell me that I've responded to questions by talking about Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, fishing and other very embarassing things.

"So, nestlekwik, what are you doing tomorrow?"
"I activate the trap card Acid Trap Hole! Since your face-down defense monster has a defense of less than 2000, he is destroyed beeeyatch! Ha ha ha ha!"

The sad thing is, I don't play Yu-Gi-Oh! and never have. I've just had kids in the store I used to own talk about it and play so much, I know how to play and know some of the cards. And the crazy thing is, I dream about Yu-Gi-Oh! on a semi-frequent basis.
