Well, not all of you. Just the ones that suck.


That being said, the extra room would probably work well as an office; a place to store files and folders and office-y stuff, or as a guest room. Depends on what you want. You don't really need a social room (lounge, whatever), since you've pretty much already got one much closer to the kitchen.

Lounge is cool, but not superior to "antechamber". Granted, the only thing to which it'll be "ante" is a bathroom, but hey, they won't care after hearing that their new place will have an antechamber.

Give me some time to think and...
If you and Tass like video games, you can set up a video game room with HDTV, PS3, Wii, 360, and other things you can play with.
If both of you like movies, go with Kenzya.

Definately go for the "lounge", have it be filled weith bookcases and
awesome chairs, like lazyboys almost. Have a fireplace and stuf like that.
No TV, or maybe if you feel that you need it. Definately have a couch
that folds out, and just store what you don't use.

I was thinking more of a long the lines of like...the walls are actually bookshelves. And in the center would be some like, huge pillows, and maybe some chairs and maybe a TV or whatever...but in the center there would be a giant sheesha. And of course there would be a moodlighting and a good soundsystem. Ugh, I kind of vomitted bit. Could I sound any more Southern Californian? Oh, god. Okay, there can be guns and lots of porn and a portible grill to cook steak. And a window...so the occupants of the room don't die of carbon monoixde poisoning.

ps. and a tv for football and wrestling.

Oh man, get a huge hot tube and put it in the center of the room. You'll get a month or two of enjoyment out of it until mold engulfs the place.

I would totally make it a "comfy room". I saw one when i was looking around a house a while back. Its pretty cheap as well. All you have to do is get thick carpet like shag rug material and then fill the room with pillows and cushions and stuff. If you want, you can also make a ledge big enough to sit on round the outside and cover it as you would a sofa (with padding and stuff). A room like that is really good if you like reading, you can keep the bookshelves you wanted to put round the edge and stick a sterio or something in there, then all you have to do is save up for a big screen tv and the room would be awesome.

Alternatively, just get a sofa bed thing and make it into a lounge like pretty much everyone else said...

we already have a living room with a couch & tv... and our consoles are hooked up to that.

my personal idea for the room would be to convert it to a porn studio. Put in some tacky plants and a couch... leave room for the lights and cameramen... and presto, instant sexual cash flowing in.
