    AOL isnt that bad really. If I could choose id have something else though.

        We used that free 1 month stuff before we got our DSL and we didn't cancel it and they keep callin us.

            AOL is owned by a conglomerate that has TONS of money, I don't see why that guy would care so much about 1 customer's buisness, or why AOL cares so much about 1 account.

                Sometimes making the incentives is tempting. I used to do work where we'd sell people memberships to a magazine when they ordered, and the incentives were amazing.

                    This is pretty true. It automatically scans while you're on the computer and it's hardly noticable because it doesn't slow anything down. It's fast and gets rid of quite a few problems. It's definitely not the best, but in terms of efficiency, it's wonderful.

                        And definitely better than what they had -- BellSouth dial-up, which is, I'm pretty sure, a company that only exists in rural southern areas where two people own a computer. Everywhere else it's been phased into something else.
