It's moving away from my house. Yay! But I'm still gonna get pounded, anyway. Anyways, if you watch the news later, there's a breach in one of the levees in 9th Ward already. That ain't good, and it's only 9:29AM CDT!!! Damn. Glad I live here. After some of you come back from school, you'll see the storm up in CNN 24/7, will you? You gotta feel for me...

Heh, I`m in Slidell and I just got here like a couple hours ago [which is 20 min away, depends how fast you drive, from Nawlins] so like right now it`s 11:27am here and like I`m pounded by Rita with rain. Power Hasn`t gone out yet [thank gawd.] Yep, the levees here are officially broken again [no matter what you hear on the news they are trust me] and for you people who didn`t know, the 9th ward is a "ghetto" but seriously.. if you go there people are like so nice. Yeah Desert_Eagle, you are lucky to live there okay? [Just remember, you guys are the lucky ones.. knowing about it.. having the chance to evacuate.. being able to pack everything that you worked hard for... other people have gone through more shit than you guys... losing everything except 2 days worth of clothes.. losing bro`s, sis`s, parents, grandparent`s, friends, people you love...] Heh... [breathes, ok]Well you guys in Houston [and other cities who are in the path of Rita], I wish all you guys luck that you can get out safely... and yes, please tune in CNN... they are gunna be live for a good week on everything trust me. All you guys are gunna be hooked on CNN.. everyone has w/ Katrina [well the ones who actually cared.] And uh Desert_Eagle, I fell for you.. shit, I`ve been through it.. I wasn`t able to evacuate Katrina... we tried but the police/government officials told us we couldn`t so we turned back.. had no choice =\ heh, I just noticed I`ve been out school for a month already =\ whatever.. I dun know when/where I`m gunna start school again. Well... good luck.
I live in Seabrook, Texas: One of the places that are to be flooded that are right next to the Galveston Bay. Me and my family left 2 days ahead of time before the Mandatory Evacuation was official issued for our zone. We got stuck on SH-146 for a lil while, got on Beltway 8, took a couple of back roads, filled up on food and gas for the vehicles, got on I-10 and made it to San Antonio late afternoon on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005 at around 6:30pm. Hopefully our house will still be standing. The next time we go back to our house will possibly be on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005.
