I tried getting in contact with you a few times jewpin, but you either weren't on aim or away. Well, I guess I'll talk to you about Japan when you get back.

Tip: Get as many friends as soon as possible. Randomly talk to a bunch of people. That is the thing I regret not doing. Make friends that will last you a lifetime and just talk and talk and talk. If you are shy about stuff, then it is really a huge waste of time. Although your time in Japan is rather short, I hope you can have just as awesome a time as I did. Good luck.

haha, I don't know if you remember, but when I started studying Japanese, I posted a message on the forums saying like "I'm looking for a study buddy" or something. You responded and I got in contact with you once. You knew like a lot more than me, so I was like crap...I'll talk to him again after I get better. Well yeah, I got a lot better. Perhaps we will be study buddies again in the future.

I've always had an interest in Japanese culture. Even when I didn't know stuff was Japanese I still really liked it. For instance, I've been eating and loving Ramen since I was like 4 and only recently have I learned that it's big in Japan.

Also, have you seen them cherry blossoms? Amazing.

I was kind of disappointed by the sakura. Maybe it was just around where I was, but they were just kind of mediocre I guess.

Yeah the architecture is cool, but keep in mind that is architecture from like...a long ass time ago. They don't build that stuff anymore. The things I found really cool were the temples hidden away in forests that nobody ever goes to or knows about. You just kind of accidentally stumble onto them and are like woah...

There's just a lot of unfounded interest in Japan. I don't understand why.

If Japanese knew how idiotic Americans were about their country, there would be sites much worse than Engrish.com out there, and America would get smoked so bad. So so bad...

I do remember that AIM conversation...but damn man, you kick my ass at Japanese now...I guess living in Japan helped a bit. But for sure, once I get back we shall discuss our Japanese adventures.

I am so excited, it's insane. I wasnt able to sleep last night and I know I wont be able to sleep tonight either. Although, the lack of humor kind of disappoints me...I know no one will understand any of my witty and well thought out comments. I also dont anticipate the lack of head room and low doorways that I will more than likely encounter.

Yeah, so I`m in Japan right now. Specifically, I am in the Language Lab. So far, my stay in Japan has been insanely awesome beyond belief. My host family is so awesome and cute. I love it. The food is delicious...and there is so much of it. They won`t stop feeding me. I think I am going to get sick from eatting too much.

So far, I`ve only hit my head once against a door-way...so I`m doing pretty good. Man, I love this keyboard.
