The way this poll looks like is Coke products, Pepsi products, and then Mountain Dew (which is Pepsi product). This poll is retarded. If you wanted it to be products against each other, take MD out. If you wanted different drinks, merge Coke and Pepsi into Cola and add other drinks.

My favorite pops are both Coke products: Coca-Cola and Barq's Rootbeer. Mountain Dew is good, but not nearly great. Neither was MD: CR. Mellow Yellow tastes better.

Other favorite kinds of pops (in no particular order):
Cherry Coke
Sprite
Cream Soda
Dr Pepper
..and some others I can't name off the top of my head.

Mountain Dew Livewire is the finest pop in America. (I'm a midwesterner, it's pop, not soda.) Greater than gold, it is. I live and die by the stuff.

Mezzo Mix is the finest pop in the world. Regrettably, it is sold only in Germany. It's a Coke product, though.

Citra used to be the finest pop in America, but they stopped making it.

Barq's Root Beer is the finest of the Coke products.

Coke is better than Pepsi.

Not sure if you noticed, but you said Mezzo Mix is the finest pop in the world, making it best pop, including coke products, and then you said Barq's Root Beer is the finest of Coke Products. Am I missing something?

Yes.

Mezzo mix is not a Coke product, therefore it cannot be the best of the coke products. Barqs can because it is.

However, chardish feels Mezzo mix is better than Barqs and anything else, making it the best drink of all.

Think about a race winner. The gold medalist is the best of everyone. The silver medalist is the best of the subgroup of everyone who isn't the winner. So it's not the best analogy, but it gets the point across.

And ugh, people, "pop" is such a queer name for a soft drink. I bet they're offended that they're referred to in such a manner.

Barq's rootbeer is only good if you seriously need a fix of rootbeer. It tastes...not completely real.

Get Virgil's, Bandit. I think they have it all over SE Michigan. That stuff is the highest quality rootbeer in Michigan.

Highest quality in America is Fitz's, in my humble opinion. You pretty much can only buy it in St. Louis, though.
