um... there are plenty of 16, 17, + aged people here... I lost mine on my 17th b-day, Whorli lost hers at 17...
Plus, I hear stories all the time of 12-14 year olds doing each other. Mmmmm... 14 year olds....
I heard rumors of a sixth grader from a rival high school who was pregnant.. I'm pretty sure it was untrue, as she remained in sixth grade year to year and the story became more and more embellished as it went on (the father was her brother, it was her second child, etc... all of these are plausible, given the attitude of my hometown, but I like to think better of those people)
I also heard a rumor that my high school's class of '04 had a genital warts epidemic when they were in eighth grade.. that one I believe. That same class graduated one girl who was married with a child, pregnant with a second, three pregnant girls, and one unwed mother. My class was the first since I'd moved to Harrison that didn't have babies during high school (several people have had kids SINCE graduation, but no one I with whom I graduated was a parent when they walked -- it was something to be proud of).
It's not really even a cultural thing. Most of these people don't expect to have any kind of education beyond college, so a few kids early in life don't really set anyone back. My school teaches almost completely "abstinence-only" sex-ed (I'm pretty sure my health teacher passed out a list of the various forms of birth control, but that was about it), so a lot of people don't even think to use protection.

No offense... But I think that a lot of people are saying they will wait until marriage because A) They are hardcore religious, or B) They can't get any
And all these people saying, "Oh! I'm 15 and a virgin! W00t!"
I have one thing to say to that... BIG WHOOP! Gawd... You're only 15, and you think it's a big accomplishment or something... Jeez...
