Why I don't like this poll:

It's random.
It benefits no one.
It could lead into a stupid flame war.
Although it can be used for research I'm probably the only one doing so.

Why I enjoy it:

I get to spread the word of T-Mobile's suckiness.

Its not about making a better poll. Your poll is fine... it's just useless. And, the point of my rant was that you had no reasoning behind the post. You just asked what everyone's provider is.

Instead, you could have said something like "Hey, guys... I need to get a new phone plan, but I'm unsure which to get. What do you all recommend?"

See how there is WHY to the thread now? Otherwise, the thread is but a small liferaft being kept afloat upon an unknown body of water. It is screaming for people to rescue it, but no one is around.

I don't mind polls, but if you make too many of them when you are relatively unknown, people have the tendecy to impose a site elitism. This shouldn't be. Everyone should be accepted and only shunned if they break the site rules or do something completely idiotic.
