    Oh dear. I just realized that I was thinking of Reed college, not Rice.

    I guess such a mistake is understandable when one hasn't looked into college choices in over two and a half years.

        Rice is one of the most prestigious colleges in the world of sciences. I plan on majoring in comp sci. and physics so I can head into the field of psychoacoustics after graduation.


        That wasn't near my whole letter, it was just all I felt like typing up, the whole thing is huge and came in this very nice folder delivered straight USPS priority mail

            How did I know?

            Yea, colleges tend to be overly-elaborate with their reply letters when they are good. I recall having this huge 30-ish size fancy script-style text with "Congratulations!" written atop my letter. My rejection letter from another college was like "You suck. Go die. Apply again and waste another 40 dollars next semester."
