Yeah, if you're in math and you come across a a question where it says "what is the area of this circle" and the radius is like...i dunno...7/8, would you want to convert it into 3.14 instead of going ahead and using 22/7?

How old were you when you dropped maths? 8?

There are billions of decimal places in pi.

i memorized 3.1415 lol. and theres 3 sixes in it. i know from a song in frequency the game called science genius girl by freezepop and i made a remix of the song to make the vocals say 666

The best fraction I know of for pi is 355/113, but it is still not exact.

There is not last decimal place to pi. Pi is an irrational non-repeating, non-terminating decimal.

16arctan(1/5)-4arctan(1/293)

me and my friend are going to break the home number of digits calculation with that. We are building a beowulf cluster in his basement. SOOOO COOL!!!

I think you made a typo. I fixed it for you. When I typed your equation in my calculator, I got about 3.144 something. With this one, I got 3.141592654, and the 4 is only because of rounding.

I know 51. I learned a song with a guy singing 51, so that's how i memorized it. By the way, they have calculated it to about 1.2411 trillion digits. I also have 10 thousand digits hanging kon my wall. I'm not a geek... I swear!
