They have a really good design and easy user interface.

iPods are really nice, really high end music players with great features and the best third party support you'll find. They're actually pretty durable, and have great sound quality and buffer times. Their shortcomings are short battery life, iTunes (</3), and the fact that to replace your battery you have to waste $100 to send it in. They're nice, just overpriced.

Personally, I love playing Music Trivia.

They play you a sample of one of 5 songs listed on the screen that is in your library and you have to select the right one before time runs out. It's so much fun.

Though, having included 5 OSTs with songs I've never even listened to yet, I lose quite fast.

Mine has the same thing. I think it's rather normal.

I like iTunes. And you dont have to spend 100 dollars to replace the battery. You can do it yourself for less than 40. http://www.ipodlounge.com/reviews_mo...=P5684_0_6_0_C

iTunes blows. And yeah, I heard about the third party methods. If I were going to replace my battery, I'd do that. But most people aren't comfortable installing a video card, much less opening up their iPod and messing around with wires.

Come to think of it...one of my friends has that line, too. I know nothing of iPods, but his was the first kind to look like the mini but weren't actually mini.

4th gen 20gb for a week, hasn't done it. I have a friend who has a 1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen, and now an iPod photo. Nothing like that has happend to his.

Battery life isn't short, long term yes, it's 12 hours when fully charged. After a year it'll go down, like all batteries of it's kind. I know of a $26 replacement I plan on getting when it does happen though.

No problems, except with iTunes. That thing hates Windows.

Your friend is incredibly fucking rich and incredibly fucking stupid. Who the hell would blow $200+ on every new generation of iPod? That's not allowing them to rape you, that's bending over and spreading your cheeks.

Battery life isn't short, long term yes, it's 12 hours when fully charged.
If you turn the backlight off and never change songs and use a 64kbps compression rate and play it at half sound with no equalizer, then yes, it lasts 12 hours when fully charged.

I know of a $26 replacement I plan on getting when it does happen though.
orly? Please share, I could use a replacement.

Yes Robby, that does a lot of good for us with iPods. Thanks for your contribution.

Thats why iPod's suck. Stick to MP3 CD players or just simple CD players. Memorex put anti-scratch CD's out on the market that are extremely useful. iPods are for rich people. Everyone has one. There like at minimum $200 to maximum $500. I guess I am one of those people that just don't go with the crowd. If I ever got anything that resembles an iPod, I would get somthing that could play .mov, .avi, .wmv, and every other video format.

And no, Juicebox just doesn't fit my needs.

Oh answering to the subject, maybe it could be some sort of temperature change.
