    RE: Re: RE: R.I.P. Winamp

WMP has always had the best visualizations, because they actually went with the music and weren't random things. However, WMP crashes and locks up and does stupid shit, so I can see why you all hate it. I use jetAudio mostly now, anyways, so screw winamp :P
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

You can still use iTunes. They made a version for windows I believe.

Goodbye, fair maiden of RAM-eating musical playing bottom-right of my computer screen taskbar-sized iconed elightener of music WinAmp. May your future stray away from the corporate hacks that own you.

Needless to say, I'll never upgrade my WinAmp again (not that I needed too).

EDIT: Come to think of it, the AOL connection explains all the useless plugins that came with Winamp recently, such as the video support (which I'll never use), and the Album/Song/Lyrics dealy (which I also never used)... Winamp was about the music... never the hacks at AOL, man.

I say we protest pointlessly in front of AOL...

As long as I still get to keep my Winamp I guess I'm happy =/

Although I am a bit sad, too.

Yay, XMMS, Beep, and AmaroK are still developed actively and are exclusively for platforms that don't blow.

Actually, you wont. TimeWarner(AOL) is going to hack into Winamp user's computers and erase all your music files. Then they will install AOL Broadband demos to clutter up your desktop, and install various programs you are never going to use.
