I'm all for talking with someone IF they have something to talk about. I don't like people I don't know IM'ing me and asking me "what's up?" and then getting indignant when they discover that I'm not there to entertain them.

FFR people IM me a lot but for the most part they're usually good about this...usually they want to call something to my attention or ask me why i made a decision that I did. And usually they don't try to continue the conversation after it's already dead. They're good in that regard.
