I recently saw two movies.

Nickadeemus pretty much summed it up, EB. The script was absolutely fantastic. I was loved with the very non-cliche meeting with Bill, and the old master guy.

EB, you remind me of a friend of mine. When he bought Max Payne 2, he skipped all the story parts so he could just get to the gunfights. In Metroid Prime, he went straight to his goal and never explored his surroundings. He never paid attention to the content of a game, which is probably why he loves Counter-Strike and UT/03/04 so much.

Just look at Matrix Reloaded. Awesome fight scenes? Sure. Great movie? Far from it.

It's all really a matter of preference. It's not that I totally ignore the non-action qualities of a movie or game, I just prefer the action. I get lots of thinking and plotting in my school and regular life, so when I slip into the world of games and movies I want madness, action, and pure focused rage. That's what's entertaining. Thinking is what I do at school and what I'll do for a living, pretty much. I don't want the movies I watch and games I play to reflect the boring life I live. I want exciting stuff.

But I must admit, KB was done well. The non-sequential chapters, the comedy mixed in with the action and overall thickness of the plot (especially for an action movie) was great. Yeah, that was all good, but I still wanted more from KB2.

Yeah, I enjoyed The Big Lebowski more than I thought I would. When a friend described the plot to me, I was skeptical, but it was a hilarious movie and deserves more credit. The Dude is awesome.

Donnie Darko? I've been hearing about this movie a lot in the past few weeks for some reason, even though it came out in like, what? 2001?

It came out in 2001, yeah.

But, its pretty good. Has some EXCELLENTLY funny things, mildly creepy things, a scene from "Evil Dead" (best movie EVER), and a good plot (albeit confusing at times). After you watch the movie, you can go to the Donnie Darko homepage to help have it explained to you.


Overall, yeah, it kicks ass.

Kill Bill (both volumes combined) is my favorite movie ever now. Volume 2 is better, because of reasons I will not say. There are too many spoilers already :' (
