Yeah, I like the Twilight Zone shows, too. There's often a twist at the end which makes things interesting. Sometimes you see it coming, sometimes you don't. But either way, it often makes you think about the story again because it wasn't what you first thought it was. I hardly ever watch Sci-Fi nowadays so I rarely see it, but you're right that they do like to put it on as a marathon on holiday weekends.
A bit of an aside, but if you like Twilight Zone, you might want to look up some old time radio programs like Suspense, Escape, or Quiet Please. They tend to be similar, kind of mystery/drama stories often with a twist at the end. Oh, and The Whistler. How could I forget that one? Part of their intro about the appeal of the program is its twist ending.
Live365 and/or Shoutcast have web radio stations playing OTR like this. I think there's an all Suspense station on Shoutcast if you feel like giving it a try. OTR is another hobby of mine.
