Sign-ups will be open until February 1st, 11:59 PM server time. The tournament will begin on February 2nd, at 12:00 AM server time. Rounds will be 2 days long unless noted otherwise.

There rounds, there's credit prizes and he's taking credits from users as a buy in. This is something that has to be approved by staff and he doesn't meet the requirements to run a tournament like this.

Also, awe kayla can't it just be moved to Brag Board and be just a simple rivalry thread? I know it says its a tourney but its just between a select few trying to rival it out on a different song every few days.

As long as credits are being collected from people, no. The rule is in place because of people not distributing the prizes and other issues. If the credit collection is dropped you guys can battle out all you want.

Well thats fine by me I'm not in it for credits anyways. It's all about improvement for me and trying to give syite his competitive edge to get better ^.^

As it stands, syite doesn't meet the requirements to host a tournament. The fact that there is a submission standard, pre-determined round lengths, and has formal signups, it is considered a tournament/competition.

The rules of creating a tournament are being circumvented in this manner -- syite can easily run an event like this, but he would need someone that meets the tournament requirements to host it, and he would need to be a co-host. I'm sure there are other means of doing this, too.

well do any of you have the power to approve this because obv he means no harm, it's all in fun (250) credits is like nothing....or could he just change the wording (i'm being serious). when i did my powerball event the only difference was that there wasn't rounds and all credits were strictly donations, so technically if he got rid of the "entry fee" and changed it to donations that would work right? idk just a suggestion because i really think this is a cool idea

It still becomes a liability of other people's credits. The rules are in place to ensure that things are handled properly.
