Last Chicago meetup (at least the one I knew about) had a stop at GameWorks. I recommend it.

We just can't afford to live here anymore. My job decided to cut me down to two days a week because it's "slow" yet they keep hiring people on all the time. (This is a normal trend for them apparently) Out in Chicago AJ has his family we can stay with for a few while we get up the money for an apartment there which believe it or not is cheaper. And we both have jobs already out there.

I do not know if this applies but employers also tend to hire new people because they do not have to give any benefits and can pay them less than someone who has been around long enough to earn raises and such. Best to boycott such places.

Anyway good luck with your move. Kinda wish I was on the way but I am not.
