It's a good keyboard, but it doesn't work for everyone.

Okay so, I just removed my keys from my USB keyboard and my laptop keyboard for the first time. Wow.

I have been pumping out all my mediocre D6 scores with my HP USB keyboard, and it uses Topre switches; which honestly surprised me.
So, I definitely recommend topre; for now.

My laptop keyboard just sucks so bad though.
Could be just me but everything seems so delayed and I have to focus even harder and press sooner.
It uses Scissor-switch.

I'm not sure if all laptop keyboards use scissor switch though, or if this laptop just so happens to be a bad fluke, but for now I really don't like it.
I also tried out a tiny usb mac keyboard and it's just as bad.

Topre is doing so well for me right now. I do intend practicing other types of keyboards/switches, but eh.

Das Keyboard is very good site however I would recommend WASD more because you can actually custom build your mech keyboard however way you like with a reasonable price.

Razor products tends to be quite expensive on their products and are known to not lasting very long. The Blackwidow Ultimate (or any blue switch keyboard) is probably one of the best for typing however if you plan on playing FFR/SM or any other rhythm game (any fast paced game), I would recommend any brown switch keyboard.

EDIT: I highly do not recommend a red switch because that shit feels like you are typing in air.

Browns for speed. Blues for accuracy, since you get the clicky feel.

The reds for whatever else, I'd use them for speed too but youtr always going to bottom out because you dont know when its going to actuate

Blacks i could care less about since it's like reds but with more force needed.

Curious, are there any existing mechanical keyboard with mixed keyswitches type, or companies which custom make them? (besides, modding one yourself) would be great since we only need 4keys for FFR/SM and you can possibly have every combination of black/blue/red/brown/white/etc. on your KB to try out
