if it's not any better by tomorrow check the emergency room so they can figure out a little more about it. that sort of swelling seems like a really bad jellyfish sting, but if it's infected or if there's a poison of some sort from whatever bit you, i'd probably get that prioritized

Never seen swelling that rampant and widespread from stinging wildlife around my area (marine wildlife near me in New England is not particularly hardcore, to be fair)

I know there are some serious ****in' jellyfish out there, I was merely comparing it to my experience.
Don't know where pmon is from, hence the qualifier.

That's not a jellyfish sting. There'd usually be a large red mark around where the sting/bite is. And it's definitely not Irukandji rofl. If it was, little pmon would be dead. :<

It's probably a small allergic reaction to a bug bite or something. Keep cream on it, but if it doesn't look like the swelling is going away, go to a doctor.

So. I'll be going to the doctor's in 20 minutes to go check this out; see what he has to say about it. There's no more redness but it is still swollen and sometimes itchy. It'll probably go away after a week or so and i'm hoping it does.
