do you wear contact lenses? I find it easier without them in a nice humid-ish environment. if you have lenses that tend to dry up easily, that might be da problem

Try to clear your head, but obviously saying it is a lot easier than actually doing it. Try thinking about something else while playing, your eyes aren't used to staring at the screen for so long without blinking.

Screen contrast can be a major factor, I only ever play on the dimmest contrast setting to prevent such problems.

I don't blink nearly as much when i'm not tired. Another thing is don't keep like a fan on if you're doing it near (obviously).
