****ing hell, that's ridiculous. I'm glad our Lottery is run by the Government (well, Camelot for the Government) we get 0% tax on winnings.


Anyway, I'd buy some sensible stuff like a big, but not massive house, send both my Children to private school, a few brand new cars. Then I'd invest some and let the rest build up interest in the bank, then I'd go a bit mad and by tonnes of gadgets, computers, TVs and shit. Not to mention give a big chunk to family.

I would start my own company (at least one, maybe several), set up yearly donations to various worthy causes (stuff I think is worthy - maybe not everyone would agree), and either buy my own private island or, if still too expensive, make enough money from the company(ies) and then buy my own private island. Private jet, boat, and house on that island as well--you kinda need that stuff or it's more Gilligan's Island. At some point, invest in international currencies as a form of financial insurance.

Find a bank capable of holding 10 million of it at 1% interest. Live off the 100,000 dollars interest per year for the rest of my life.

Find a host of investment firms capable of holding 10 million each, inform my broker at each one that it is a contest, and whichever firm generates me the most profit at the end of each year gets to keep an additional 50% of that profit.

Give the best god-damned birthday and Christmas presents in the history of creation.

Donate at least 100 million of it to Child's Play Charity.

Pay for the bandwidth costs for FFR, Kingdom of Loathing, Ranting Dragon.com, The Overthinking It Podcast, and The Savage Love Podcast in perpetuity.
