    From what I heard probably about 5 or 6 months ago is that they were going to make a remake of FF7 for the PS3. But it got cancelled because the word got out too soon and everyone knew about it. I dont't know if this is true but i've heard it from a few people.

        Stop saying rumors people, please. If you dont have any solid evidence to post, any official news from a tusted source, then dont start spewing out garbage. Until Square-Enix says there will be a remake we can all assume there wont be one. All one can do is hope for the day that Square-Enix releases the info.

            That would be the stupidest reason to cancel the development of a game, ever. Isn't that the point of the news stories: to let hype build, that way when launch comes, they sell more?

            Besides, as large as the FF fan base is, its hard to believe that Square-Enix would cancel it if "everyone knew about it." Just goes to show you that all the rumors, whether that its being made or that it was being made, but stopped, are all utter bullcrap.

                    yeah ff7 for the PSX had a great(doesnt even start to describe the story lol) story and ok graphics for its time, but a remake would make me so freakin happy. And with all the buzz I dont think they could not make it lol I mean look at the ending of Crisis Core. Why the hell would they make that and not make a remake. No reason just to make a 5 min vid of FFVII on the PS3 if they werent going to do it. I dont care what the web says. All the other facts point to a remake and yeah other remakes would be awesome too, but FFVII would be the greatest
