Read the petition for more information. You can't copy data to an SD card from SSBB. That is outrageous. I know this petition is unlikely to do much, but at least it's SOMETHING done.

Having the ability to swap SD cards voids the purpose of self-achievement.

seriously... since i like to play with random characters most of the time i don't really care if i go to a friend's house and he doesn't have all characters

Ignoring the bump, this should be possible so that Sonic and Snake will be playable without previous hours of gameplay (which apparently are the characters new players most want to play as).
