ITG is great for it's difficulty and charts that are fun. Downfall IMO is the music, which isn't the best.
DDR has great J-pop songs and a huge songlist. Downfall is the stepcharts itself, which sometimes don't make sense at all.
PUI...haven't played much, but seems to be great so far, but I'll put it lower than ITG until I get better at it (when there is a PUI machine nearby). Music seems great, and stepcharts are hella fun so far. Downfall is that it's not easy-friendly at all.
PIU because compared to other dance music games, the steps seem a lot more fluid and fun. You can tell someone actually played them before they were released.
first off, piu is just pure fun, its more of a challenge than the classic 4 panel games like ddr and itg. Itg has some respectable charts and is overall a really fun game, much better than ddr. I dont play ddr that much because the files are pure poop, but from time to time ill play it once or twice if im at the arcade since we dont have an itg or piu.

i like DDR the best i dont think the steps are all that bad and they deffinately have the best songs out of the 3. then i like PIU i just recently got to play it at the arcadei go to like 5 monthes ago and it was awesome except it had the same songs from ITG. ITG is last i like it but not that much i like the idea of hands but the mines was retarded...

What about now?
I play DDR on Stepmania with a soft pad.
Should I buy a metal DDR or PIU pad instead ?
Is there many custom charts for PIU like there is for DDR nowadays?
